Alex Forster (2011) is a former AFL and SANFL Footballer and is currently the Football Director and player for the Pembroke Old Scholars Football Club. By day he is a Funeral Consultant with Berry Funerals, but his passion in life is for sport, his family and friends – especially his soon-to-be wife and fellow old scholar, Laura Liminton (2013).

What do you enjoy about your role as the Football Director of The Kings?

Engaging with the Old Scholars community and Old Scholars from years above and below me.

What is your pre-game ritual?

Coffee.

The best advice I have ever been given was…

Be in a rush.

Who was your favourite teacher at Pembroke and why?

Mr. Quinn + Mr. Knights - Great Memories on Cricket Tours and Outdoor Ed Camps.

What is something you are passionate about?

Sport.

Name three places that are on your bucket list…

Hawaii, South Africa, South America.

What is the biggest risk you have taken?

Skiing with an engagement ring.

What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self?

Enjoy life while you have no responsibility!

What’s a superpower you wish you had?

Speed.

Self-indulgence.
